HUANG Yong-Ping

I think the interaction among cultures is very important. The concepts of western, eastern ,I , and you are not stable, they are dynamic. When I was in China, I was interested in western, because the western is more exotic; whereas when I am now, (away from China) , I'm becoming more interested in Chinese thought. Maybe it's because the background I am facing now is western. On one hand, pitting eastern against western is to avoid western-centralized; on the other hand, pitting western against eastern is to avoid chauvinism. Of course, the attraction for me is also changing according to the background.
